As a Belong employee, what would a coworker come to you for?
My role at Belong is to ensure that we have all of the data we need, it is clean quality data, and all data processes are running efficiently. Coworkers should come to me if we need to ingest a new data source, if they believe they have found an issue in the data, or if they have any questions regarding data content, scheduling, and processes.
What led you to this career or to Belong?
I have been working in a similar role at Evolent Health, and while I love working with data, diagnosing data issues, and onboarding data, I was eager to expand my responsibilities and to gain a more holistic understanding of how the data is used and helps other teams. Belong provided this opportunity by being a much smaller organization with much more cross team transparency and by giving me the chance to carve out the data management role from scratch.
What kinds of activities energize you?
I get really excited about karaoke (her go-to song? My Immortal by Evanescence) or just singing along with the radio, and I try to stay active by playing dancing games and doing dance workouts on my apple tv. Basically, if I can sing along or dance along with some fun music I will be energized.
How do you like to spend your time outside of work?
I like to visit art fairs around the city and especially look for bunny themed art and I am often reading books in the evenings. Lately I have been focusing on training my dog (Nimbus) so that he can be an official Canine Good Citizen.
What’s something—big or small—that you’re really good at?
Remembering what someone ordered at a restaurant multiple years prior.
